Convergence
Rand joins Bond at ERIE in 2024.
Shared exposure to economic research and institutional questions. Emergence of a common concern around AI and labor markets.
This marks the intersection of paths.
The Work
The Impact of Artificial Intelligence on Labor Markets: A Forecasting Model for Significant Economic Events
Joint research effort focused on forecasting, uncertainty, and institutional risk. The work examined how AI would reshape labor markets and what institutions needed to prepare for significant economic transitions.
Validation Through Exposure
May 2025
AAAI Dubai Summer Symposium
Global exposure. Engagement with decision-makers and institutions.
July 2025
ERIE Conference
Recognition that many organizations were unprepared for the coming changes.
October 2025
University of Notre Dame RISE AI Conference
Academic and institutional engagement.
The Realization
The problem was not theoretical. Through presentations and engagement, it became clear that institutions lacked tools, frameworks, and readiness.
Reactive approaches would impose unnecessary human cost. The decision was made to move from research into application.
Formation
Bond-Rand Technologies was formed to address this gap. The firm exists to translate research into action.
The mission is rooted in workforce impact, institutional responsibility, and long-term outcomes.
